JAMES J. CARROLL, III, ESQ.
Jim is the owner of the firm. He has a law degree from Seton Hall and a Master of Laws degree from NYU. He has taught at Rutgers Law School, Stockton College, and Fairleigh Dickinson. He has over 25 years of experience as an attorney and has worked for the N.J. Attorney General’s Office, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority; he has served as a municipal attorney for the Townships of Galloway, Hamilton, Weymouth and the City of Egg Harbor; and he has extensive experience in both the private and public sector. Mr. Carroll has tried numerous cases at both the State and Federal level in both civil and criminal courts. Through his many years of governmental service and political involvement, Mr. Carroll is able to assist clients in developing prompt solutions to complex situations.
AMANDA L. CARROLL FLORES, ESQ.
Amanda received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Wake Forest University in 2007. She spent her first year of law school attending Seton Hall Law School in New Jersey, then, in order to be closer to her family, transferred to Phoenix School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2010. She has almost three years experience working as a law clerk for a Juvenile Public Defender in Scottsdale. Upon graduating law school and passing the Arizona bar exam, she began working with her father, James J. Carroll, III, at The Carroll Law Firm PLC, and has been expanding her legal experience by working as a general practitioner.
BRIAN C. BENSON
Brian received two undergraduate degrees in Political Science and History from Arizona State University. He graduated from Phoenix School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2011. Brian has previously worked for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office and has extensive experience in Family law and Criminal matters. Brian is originally from Southern California and moved to Phoenix in the summer of 2005. Brian joined The Carroll Law Firm in April of 2011, and plans to sit for the February, 2012 Arizona Bar Examination.
JULIE MAXWELLJulie moved from Scotland to Arizona in 2001 and later joined The Carroll Law Firm in 2010, where she provides legal assistant services to the firm and clients. Julie is the firm’s office manager and handles accounting and client billing accounts. Julie is also a Notary Public in the State of Arizona and provides Notary services for The Carroll Law Firm. She spent her first year studying at Arizona State University and later transferred to Kaplan University where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. She received her Legal Secretary Certificate in 2010 and plans to attend law school when she graduates.
| WAYNE D. CARROLL, ESQ.
Wayne is a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School and is a licensed patent attorney. Although an experienced general practitioner, Wayne focuses on bankruptcy and intellectual property and can assist clients with patent and trademark registration and related issues. He has assisted homeowners facing foreclosure lawsuits in addition to prosecuting patents for many large corporate clients.
CHRISTOPHER J. MILLS, ESQ.
Chris received his bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University in 2007. He entered law school immediately after graduation and received his Juris Doctor in 2010 from Phoenix School of Law. He has worked and volunteered for several Arizona firms and has gained experience in multiple areas of legal practice, including estate planning and educational law. Christopher has lived in Arizona for nearly all his life, and he is thrilled to join The Carroll Law Firm PLC.
REGINALD S. FLOYD, ESQ.
Reggie earned his Master's Degree at Harvard University, Cambridge Mass. Reggie then entered law school at Rutgers School of Law-Newark, and graduated with a J.D. in 1992. Further studies were done at New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Reggie has been licensed to practice law in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania since June 1992. Currently he practices law with the Law Firm of James Carroll, III. In January 2008 he was appointed the Undersheriff of Atlantic County. Prior to that appointment he was the Chief Public Defender for the City of Atlantic City from January 2006 to January 2008. From 1993 to 2007 he served as the Legal Advisor to the New Jersey Conference Trustees of The African Methodist Episcopal Church representing 100 churches. In August 2006 New Jersey Gov. Corzine appointed him to a twenty-one member Advisory Committee on State Police procedures recognizing his expertise in civil rights matters as a longtime pastor, community leader and attorney. He currently assists The Carroll Law Firm's New Jersey office.
DOROTHY J. OLGADorothy is the newest addition to The Carroll Law Firm. Dorothy J. Olga moved to Anthem, Arizona from the Boston area over 11 years ago to join a small community of friendly people. She has over 30 years experience as an office professional, working in the medical and legal industries. Dorothy helps people with their problems and directs them to the correct person and/or people to help them solve their legal issues.
